Keep Premiums Low

Want To Keep Premiums Low - Avoide Penalties And Drive Safe & Well.
Here are some tips so you can arrive at your destination safe & Sound
The following good driving habits are mostly common sense but some are law.

Don’t Drive Tired
Driving when you’re tired can be just as dangerous as drink driving. On long journeys you need to stop and take a break at least 15 minutes every 2 hours. If you feel tired during a journey, don’t hesitate and pull over in a rest zone and have a break and something to eat.

LAW: Wear seat belts
Never start your car without wearing a seat belt.

Eating while driving
A very bad habit and dangerous. You lose your concentration if you eat while driving. It also reduces your reaction time.
A study has shown that although divers slow down whilst they eat, they were also twice as likely to be in an accident. It’s far more safe and practical to stop and eat. Use the stop to freshen up.

Don’t permanently drive on the middle lane
The middle lane is for overtaking. Many accidents are caused by drivers clogging up the middle lane. Stay left and use for overtaking only.

Never Drink & Drive
Don’t ever do it. Over 3000 people are killed or seriously injured as a result of a drink drive accident.

Don’t talk on a mobile
It is now illegal to use your phone if you hold the phone at any point during its use. Talking on the phone is a major distraction.
Although hands-free kits are legal if you do not have to touch the phone, we still recommend that you pull over to a safe location whenever you need to make or receive a call.
