More green car insurance and green tips around the house

More and more people think of driving more eco friendly cars.
The worlds understanding is changing and so many companies follow suit to offer greener policies with discounts for going eco friendly.
Many companies go as far as offering 5% discount for a low emission car, or sometimes you can get that level of discount for driving low mileage, so cheap car insurance is the response. Many companies offer to give money to charity for every “green policy”.
If you too think of going greener, here are a few more things you can do to help.
- Use a cloth bag when you go shopping
- Drive slower. You use 30% more fuel when you drive 70 instead of 50!
- Make your own lunch instead of buying packaged lunches.
- Have a shower instead of a bath and save 40 litres.
- Switch the TV off at night. Don’t leave it on standby, you’re putting money down the drain.
