Just showing off some of the cool new electric cars and putting to rest some of the myths out there. When people think of electric cars, typically they think of older ugly slower models, lead-acid batterys, and BS propaganda they’ve read slamming the “electric cars”(as though they all carried the exact same attributes) The battery technology has changed(and will change even more when nanowire battery becomes common), the speeds have changed, the climate versatility has changed, the prices are changing, the car companies are changing… everything is changing for the better. I expect to see a lot more support for EV’s during and after 2010.

@tuguybear If they manage to find themselves influencing law regarding wind, solar, or other means of self-sufficient electricity we will have problems and it seems this is already a problem in some places. Hopefully ppl will find a way to prevent these kinds of deterrents from emerging.
At the moment Oil companies and governments rip us off on the cost of fuel because we have no choice but to pay it.When we all own Electric cars Electric companies will rub their hands in delight,because they will have every one of us car drivers by the balls and they will charge us more for our electricity.And we will be right back to being ripped off.
I wonder if they will make an EV-2. That would be great way to repay for what GM did to EV-1
anyone know the true price of these cars they are beatifull andall but if it saves me money from gas, how much will i have to take out of my pocket to pay for the car??

@hshine4432 yeah Amen brother. plus electric bill is going to be minimal considering that these batteries and just suped up cell phone batteries. How much would it really be to charge a huge li-ion battery to full. and plus it would run 200 miles b4 you need to recharge it again. the avg car is 20 mpg x 15 gal tank thats 300 miles for 40 bucks.They say its gonna cost $0.01/m do the math. You will never have to pay for gas ever again.

@chaosad09 They will try hard for these cars to not catch on. but if these cars do catch on then it’s pretty much over for them oil tycoons. It’s a global market now days so it would be hard for them to get more expensive, things would just get cheaper. They have to compete with Chinese now. Maybe they will tax the shit out of those cars who knows.
